The 2025–26 school records report 1,02,73,020 teachers, while 67.4% of schools had internet and 69.9% had computer access. These percentages describe facilities reported by schools. They do not establish that every pupil has a personal device, a reliable connection or regular access to digital lessons.

NEP-stage statistics let readers follow dropout, retention and transition separately. The published secondary dropout rate was 7.0%, and the secondary gross enrolment ratio was 71.7%. Keep the IX–XII stage definition and the indicator names: dropout and gross enrolment use different calculations. Four-year tables also show that an improvement in one indicator need not mean improvement in every stage or facility.
